Two new Motorola Moto devices Lenovo XT1700 and Lenovo XT1706 spotted at GFXBench, Could be Moto E 2016 variants?

Looks like Lenovo is working on two new devices in the Motorola lineup of devices as two new devices has just popped up at GFXBench database with Lenovo XT1700 and Lenovo XT1706 names. The “XT” in the model numbers is meant for the Motorola Moto devices so we can expect that Motorola will launch these two devices as Motorola Moto E 2016 variants. Both the devices has similar features and there is no difference in the specs of both in the GFXBench listing. There is no official confirmation yet if these will be the new Moto E 2016 variants, so take it with a pinch of salt.

The GFXBench listings for the both Lenovo XT1700 and Lenovo XT1706 confirms that this new Motorola device will have a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and will be powered by the MediaTek processor that is a quad core 988MHz MediaTek MT6735P (Cortex A53 – ARMv8) processor with ARM Mali-T720 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM 16GB of inbuilt storage and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

It features a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device has single sim option and connectivity options includes WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth and USB. No other details have been mentioned in the GFXBench listing and more details will be available with the TENAA listing of any of these. Again, none of the above details are official and there may be changes in both the devices features when it will be launched. So stay tuned for more news and updates.
