Sony’s much awaited smartphone Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is now available for purchase in the US. It was launched in August but was not available in the US, but now, the smartphone is available for sale online at Amazon in white and black color variants. The device is available unlocked on Amazon at $319.99. Xperia C5 Ultra is the selfie focused smartphone with a 13MP front facing camera with LED flash. We will discuss the full specs of this phone later in this article.
Sony Xperia C5 Ultra was launched in Asian markets for around $448 in August but thanks to Amazon that its available more than $100 cheaper on Amazon US. It comes with some amazing camera tools like video stabiliser, 25mm wide-angle lens, 4x digital zoom, full-HD video recording, image stabiliser, geo-tagging, auto scene recognition and red-eye reduction feature.
It comes with a 6-inch 1080p Full-HD display and is powered by a 1.7GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor with ARM Mali760 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 200GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box. It comes with a 2930mAh battery which is not removable. It measures 164.2×79.6×8.2mm and weighs 187g.
It supports major 4G LTE bands of US and comes with other connectivity options like 3G, GPRS, EDGE, GPS, NFC, Glonass, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro-USB. Unfortunately, Xperia C5 Ultra is not water and dust proof.
