Qualcomm has confirmed via a tweet and posted, “Something new from @OnePlus is on the way…and it’s powered by our #Snapdragon 821 processor. Stay tuned.” which confirms that a OnePlus device is on its way with SD821, however, the tweet doesn’t mention the OnePlus 3T smartphone. But as the rumors says, the OnePlus 4 is expected to launch next year with the SD830 processor, so the chances of the OnePlus 4 are almost zero to launch which also clears the way for the launch of the rumored OnePlus 3T.

As for the specifications, the OnePlus 3T is expected to come with the Android 7.0 Nougat based OxygenOS out of the box and will feature a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. A 3300mAh battery will be powering the device with the Dash Charge feature and will have the same design like the OnePlus 3. It will have the same 6GB of RAM and will have 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage variants.

It will feature the 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor on the rear side instead of the 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 sensor according to the rumors. As for the price, the OnePlus 3T is expected to be priced around $479 which is $80 more than the OnePlus 3. The color options available will be Black again and will also have the USB Type-C port.
