Xiaomi has had a great 2016 year with launching Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone having high-end specifications at an affordable price and other mid-range devices as well including the Redmi Note 3 and Redmi Note 4. Xiaomi was rumored to be working on a new variant of the flagship Xiaomi Mi5 known as Xiaomi Mi 5s that will have upgraded features and hardware according to previous leaks.

An alleged front panel image was spotted from the Xiaomi Mi 5s a few days back on China’s weibo website showing us the front panel design of the phone with a round home button just like the iPhone 7 home button. The device was also confirmed to have a ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on the home button. Now, the back panel of the device have been leaked that shows a glass back and rear camera with dual LED flash. The device comes with Black color option and no other details about the device are currently available from this leaked image.

The Xiaomi Mi 5s was also spotted listed at AnTuTu benchmark database listing some of the key specifications. It was listed with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution display which will of 5.15-inch size. It is powered by the Snapdragon 821 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box. No other details we available via the AnTuTu benchmark listing.

According to the previous rumors the Xiaomi Mi 5s will have a 5.15-inch Full HD Display and will be powered by a 2.4GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 821 processor having with Adreno 530 GPU with 6GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage capacity. It will run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based MIUI 8 out of the box and will support Dual-SIMs.

It will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS and f/1.9 aperture and a front facing camera. It will be backed up by a 3490mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 feature. Connectivity options expected are 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band (MIMO) and USB Type-C port.
