Galaxy Note7 pre-orders sets new record in South Korea, Pricing for 6GB RAM variant tipped, Canada to get Snapdragon 820 variant

Samsung has recently launched its new flagship in the Galaxy Note series called the Galaxy Note7 that comes with the Iris Scanner and other upgraded features from its predecessor Galaxy Note 5. The Galaxy Note 7 is going to launch globally starting 19th August but before its launch Samsung has set a new record of pre-orders for Galaxy Note7 in South Korea. Reportedly, Samsung has received more than 200,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy Note7 in the Home country in just 2 days of time which is double than that of Galaxy S7.

We have already told you the Galaxy Note 7 pricing for various countries already. In Korea, the Galaxy Note 7 will be sold bundled with Galaxy Note7 that includes a free Gear Fit 2 (priced KRW 198,000 or $177), 50% discount on screen repair and a KRW 100,000 gift card that can be used at Samsung Pay Mall. The Galaxy Note 7 costs KRW 988,900 (around $895) in South Korea. In China, the Galaxy Note 7 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage will be priced at 5,688 yuan (around $854) and the 6GB RAM + 128 GB inbuilt storage variant is priced at 6088 yuan (around $914).

In Canada, Samsung launched the Exynos powered Galaxy S7 and S& Edge smartphones but Samsung has confirmed that this time Canada will get the Snapdragon 820 variant instead of the Exynos ones. After US, Canada will be the second country to get the Snapdragon 820 powered Note7. The Galaxy Note 7 will be launched in US and Canada on August 19 with bundled offers that the Korean users will get.

The Galaxy Note 7 was launched with features such as a 3D glass and metal unibody design with IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance, a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED curved dual edge display, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Octa-Core Exynos 8890 (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad), 64 bit, 14 nm processor / Snapdragon 820 chipset (region based), 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage capacity, up to 256GB with microSD card expandable storage, Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), Hybrid Dual SIM, a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3500mAh battery, 4G LTE and S Pen stylus.
