Samsung has recently launched the 7-inch phablet in the Galaxy J series called the Galaxy J Max and now the Korean giant has launched a yet another device in the Galaxy J series called the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo. This device is an entry level device and is currently available in South Africa and is also listed on official website without any pricing and availability information. It comes with three color options White, Black and Blue. There is no information available about its global debut and pricing details.

The Galaxy J1 Ace Neo comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and has 1 GB of RAM. The customers will get 8GB inbuilt storage capacity and up to 128GB MicroSD card expandable storage slot. It runs on unknown Android version and supports Single-SIM (Micro-SIM) option.

It features a 5-megapixel rear LED flash camera with f/2.2 aperture, auto focus and HD video recording features. It also comes with a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It is backed up by a 1900 mAh removable battery that can deliver up to 40hrs of audio playback and talk time of up to 11 hrs on 3G network. The Galaxy J2 2016 comes with a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display (1280 x 720 pixel), a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor, Mali-400MP2 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, up to 32GB microSD card expandable storage, Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS, Dual SIM, an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2600mAh battery and supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio.
