Samsung has finally made official its new phablet smartphone Samsung Galaxy J Max after getting leaked yesterday in a leaked image. The Samsung Galaxy J Max is priced at Rs. 13400 (around $200) and will be available for sale in India by the end of July. It comes with Black and Gold color options and will be available through online and offline stores in India. Recently, @evleaks shared an image from the device and the name of the device as well forcing the company to launch the device today in India.

The interested customers can also avail the exclusive offers available with the purchase of this phablet such as one year free subscription to Vuclip, a video on demand streaming service, get a free Samsung Bluetooth headset and 6 months of double data offer for the Airtel prepaid customers. The Galaxy J Max also comes with the Ultra data saving (UDS) mode with Opera Max and S bike mode that was previously available with the 2016 variants of the other Galaxy J series devices.

The Samsung Galaxy J Max comes with a 7-inch WXGA TFT display with 1280 × 800 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 200GB with microSD card slot. It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS out of the box and supports Dual-SIM.

It features an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is backed up by a large 4000mAh battery which is perfect for the 7-inch display. It comes with connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio support also. It measures 186.9 × 108.8 × 8.7 mm.
