Oppo has announced a new device in the Oppo A series called the Oppo A37 in the mid-range series. The Oppo A37 was first launched in China in April and now its available globally for sale. It is priced at $199 and is available in Singapore at SG $289 (around $215). It will be available in Indonesia on June 25 and the availability other markets will be announced soon.

The Oppo A37 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB with micro SD card. It runs on the ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports Dual-SIM.

It features a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1/3.2-inch BSI sensor,1.4μm pixel size and 1080p video recording with a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size, 1/4-inch sensor and OmniBSI+. It comes with a 2630mAh non removable battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and HD sound. It measures 143.1×71×7.68mm and weights 136 grams. It will be available in Gold, Rose Gold and Grey color options.
