The device has already got the Bluetooth approval few days back and is listed on the Bluetooth website. The Galaxy A9 Pro comes with the model numbers SM-A910F and SM-A910F/DS and both the devices has now got the FCC approval hinting towards its imminent launch in regions outside China.
The FCC approval documents for the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A910F) confirms the battery of 5000 mAh if we check the e-label document in the FCC approval documents. The letter “F” in the model number SM-A910F hints towards the international variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro. The FCC documents confirms some other features like Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac and 4G LTE. No other details of the device were available in the FCC documents.
The Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A910F) was also spotted imported to India for internal testing. The device was listed with price tag of INR 21,994 (around $325) on Zauba, but it may be priced a little bit higher as it was launched in China for CNY 3,499 (around $537). The Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A910F) comes with a 6-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass and 1080×1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.8GHz 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It comes with a metal frame and glass body design.
It supports Dual SIM and features a 16-megapixel camera rear autofocus camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with features like as wide selfie mode, self-portrait mode, palm selfie mode. It is backed up by a large 5000mAh battery and connectivity options includes Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, Beidou, NFC, Wi-Fi and USB 2.0.
