Android 4.4 KitKat Update Started On Nexus 4 In India

Their is no official news by Google but the users in India have started receiving Android 4.4 KitKat update on Nexus 4 devices.

A Twitter user MananChawla, recently posted an image on his account with Android 4.4 Kitkat update notification. He wrote,”This time it happened fast. Android 4.4 KitKat is on my #nexus4 #India.”

The screenshot shows that the update is 238.09 MB in size so you need to have a WIFI connection for a faster update.

This new update has new features and performance improvements. New hangouts system which will handle all SMS and MMS along with other conversations and video calls. Another new feature called Caller ID by Google which can identify unknown callers. Users can also print documents and photos.

Recently, Google announced the Android 4.4 KitKat update for Nexus 7 And Nexus 10 via OTA. Nexus 4 was left, and now Google is expected to roll out this update soon for all Indian Nexus 4 users.
