The Chinese company Oppo has just announced a new entry-level smartphone Oppo A57 in China which is priced at 1599 yuan ($231 approx.) and is listed on the official Oppo China website in two color options of Gold and Rose Gold. The device will be available for sale in the country starting this December 12. The main highlight of the Oppo A57 is its curved glass display with rounded corners on display edges. The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the physical home button on the front panel.
The Oppo A57 comes with a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display having the 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and under the hood, the Oppo A57 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 505 GPU. The device runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) based ColorOS 3.0 UI and supports dual-SIMs. It has 3GB RAM along with 32GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card.
For the camera department, it features a 16MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF and LED Flash features along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel and 5P lens. It comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS connectivity options and we have a 2900mAh battery that is not removable. The device measures 149.1×72.9×7.65mm and weights 147g.
