After lots of rumors and predictions online, the Korean giant has finally launched the flagship device Samsung Galaxy S7 in the MWC event today. The device has also got FCC certification few days back and was leaked in renders and GFXBench, Geekbench listings as well. It confirmed most of the rumored specs and comes with top notch features and specs. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor in select markets and will be powered by Samsung’s own Octa-Core Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor. The device comes with huge amount of RAM and performance boost with latest mobile processors. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 comes with a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED always-on pressure sensitive display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor / Octa-Core Exynos 8 Octa 8890 (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad) processor and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. it features 32/64GB internal storage capacity with expandable storage up to 200GB with microSD card slot. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

Galaxy S7 features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture and Smart OIS and also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging feature with wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0 and NFC.

The Galaxy S7 also comes with IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It comes with a Heart rate sensor, Fingerprint sensor and Barometer. It measures 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9mm and weights 152grams. It will be available in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl and Silver Titanium color options and will be available starting March 11th, 2016. The buyers can also get free Gear VR headset with the pre-orders of the device in select countries.

Samsung also launched the Samsung Gear 360 VR Camera with dual fisheye lenses in the event. It comes with two CMOS 15 megapixel fisheye cameras with DRIMe5s image processor. It also comes with microSD card storage up to 128GB. The device is IP53 Certified Dust and Water Resistant and comes with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth v4.1, USB 2.0, NFC, Accelerometer, Gyroscope connectivity options.

It will be available with Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S6+, Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 and it will be available starting Q2 2016 in select countries.
