Pink variant of Sony Xperia Z5 launching On January 12

At the start of the year 2016, a new Pink variant of the Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone was leaked and it has been said that Sony will launch the Pink variant in January, 2016 and now looks like Sony is going to launch the Pink variant on 12th January. Sony has started teasing the Pink color variant of the Xperia Z5 smartphone on its Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts with images of Pink colored balloons, brushes and flowers. The Japanese giant is going to hold an event on 12th January in US.

To recall, Sony launched the Xperia Z5 series of smartphones Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium at IFA event last year and out of these, Xperia Z5 and Z5 compact were available in Graphite Black, White, Yellow and Coral color variants and the Xperia Z5 premium was available in Chrome, Black and Gold color options till now. The new Pink color will give the smartphone a romantic and stylish look perfect for couples. These smartphones were launched with premium features and improved camera.

The Xperia Z5 Premium is capable of recording 4k videos. As far as the specs are concerned, the Xperia Z5 comes with a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p Triluminos display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) processor with Adreno 430 GPU. Other features includes a 2900 mAh battery, 3 GB RAM, up to 32 GB inbuilt storage and 200 GB microSD card storage, 23 MP Sony Exmor rear sensor with Pulse LED Flash, 5 MP front camera, connectivity options: aGPS, Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA Certified, WiFi, NFC and Fingerprint sensor. Xperia Z5 is Waterproof and dust tight  means IP65 and IP68 certified.

The Xperia Z5 compact and Xperia Z5 Premium comes with same specifications like Xperia Z5 but with screen size and battery size differences. Xperia Z5 Compact has a 4.6-inch display and the Xperia Z5 Premium has a large 5.5-inches display. While the Xperia Z5 comes with a 2900 mAh battery, the Xperia Z5 premium has a large 3430mAh battery and Xperia Z5 compact has a comparatively smaller 2700 mAh battery.
