The Dutch company Philips is known for its electronic items like TV’s, AC’s, Washing Machines and other electronic equipment as well. Philips has also gained much attention of customers around the world for its smartphones and tablets. We haven’t heard anything about a new tablet from Philips from a long time period and looks like Philips is working on a new tablet with 7-inch display and we may see the launch of this tablet in the CES 2016 event next year, which is just a couple of days away from now.

The Philips tablet that we have just spotted on the US FCC comes with model name Philips V710 and the FCC documents for the tablet reveals the images and specifications of the tablet. The user manual available in the FCC documents reveals everything about the tablet except the camera details. The FCC documents also comes with internal images from the tablet UI as well. The exact name of tablet is still a mystery that we may be able to know in its upcoming leaks.

Philips V710 tablet comes with a 7-inch TFT display with 800X480 pixel resolution. It is powered by rockchip processor and comes with 4GB inbuilt storage with up to 32GB MicroSD card expandable storage slot. This tablet runs on outdated Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out of the box. The tablet measures 190X108X10.5mm and comes with a 3000 mAh poly-lithium battery. It supports OTG, USB 2.0 high speed, WIFI, HDMI, Bluetooth etc. No details are currently available about the networks support for this tablet in the FCC documents.

The FCC documents is missing the camera and RAM details of the tablet and also, as we discussed earlier, networks support options are also not available. We have to wait for Philips now to make an official announcement for this tablet, after that we will get the full details about this tablet. Stay tuned for more updates.
