Samsung launched Samsung Gear S2 watch last month at IFA in Berlin and the rumors says that the Gear S2 watch will be launched in India in November. The Tizen-powered smartwatch Gear S2 comes with two other variants called the Gear S2 3G and Gear S2 Classic. Now, looks like the smartphone giant is preparing for India launch of Gear S2 smartwatch as some of the units of Gear S2 are found imported to India.

Zauba, the Indian import/export data website, revealed that 21 units of Galaxy Gear S2 were imported on 16th of October from Sount Korea. The smartwatch comes with model numbers SM-R730V, SM-R730T and SM-R730A and each unit is priced at Rs. 13,544 ($209) indicating that the price of this smartwatch will be around $209 in India.

If we talk about the features of Gear S2 watch, it comes with a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 360 x 360 pixels resolution. Its powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB of RAM and runs on Tizen OS instead of Android. It comes with 4 GB of internal storage and comes with 250 mAh battery that can give two to three days of battery life. This smartwatch supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and comes with IP 68 rating. The Gear S2 3G comes with 300 mAh battery.

Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch can work well with non-Samsung phones. The pre-orders for the Gear S2 is up on Verizon and T-Mobile. On Verizon, its priced at $299.99 with a two-year contract and is available for $349.99 off-contract or for $5/month plan.

At T-Mobile, customers can buy Gear S2 watch at $359.99 without contract. Users has also an option to pay $15 a month for 23 months with the 24th or final month at $14.99. Another plan comes with a $5 monthly charge as an added fee to customers who are under an existing plan.
