Finally, Microsoft has announced the Windows 10 devices launch event which will not be 10/10 but 6th October. Microsoft has sent out invites for its October 6 event where the company will unveil its new Windows 10 devices including Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL And Surface Pro 4.

Microsoft will hold this event in New York City and the invite reads,”We have something exciting news to share about Windows 10 Devices”. Followed by,”Join us for the media briefing at the skylight at Moynihan station at the New York City on October 6th at 10 a.m. EDT. Doors open at 9 am”.

We already have lots of rumors about Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL Windows 10 devices which suggests that Lumia 950 will have QHD resolution display, 3 GB of RAM, 32GB expandable storage, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3000 mAh battery, a 20 MP PureView rear camera, a 5 MP front camera, a USB Type-C port etc whereas, the 950 XL will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3300 mAh battery and other similar features like Lumia 950.

Microsoft is also expected to launch Surface Pro 4 Tablet in the event. It is rumored to have a 14-inch display and fingerprint scanner with other upgraded features from Surface Pro 3 tablet.
