Today only, it has been teased by the company about its upcoming event and about the launch of MIUI 7. A set of posters and certain photographs of a peculiar and quite elaborate invitation to the venue has been teased up today by Xiaomi.

It is sad to know that the one and only information about the upcoming operating system is that it is going to be unveiled on 13th August. It is also expected that the next flagship of the company may also be revealed by Xiaomi during this event.

According to the MIUI Forum, it has been mentioned,[Xiaomi] Xiaomi New Product Launch Event on August 13!MIUI 7 to be released!

This upcoming event is going to take place on 13th August at China National Convention Centre. Around one year back MIUI’s sixth version was launched and this offers a great set of customisations which actually make it a class apart from its competitors.

Another rumour which is being heard these days is that Xiaomi windows 10 based Mi tablet may also make a debut on 13th August. As reported by GizmoChina , a well known Chinese analyst Pan Juitang has stated that, “ the device will not be running the android version as its predecessor but instead it reportedly run on new windows 10 platform.”

The current version i.e MIUI 6 is based on 5.0 Android and hence it is going to be a good guess if we expect MIUI 7 to be based on Android 5.1.1.

Also, according to the previous rumours we received it is being speculated that Xiaomi Mi5 is going to run MIUI7 out of the box, which may also mean that the first the users may first encounter with MIUI 7 on a powerful platform as Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 820 chip can be allegedly employed in it.
