Choices available:

This new feature will atleast help the users to make a choice of streaming in high quality even when they are away from a wireless network. Some of us value High Quality music above everything else and this feature is helpful for such users.

This feature will be labelled as “High quality on cellular” and can be found in the “settings” section of the iOS device and it will be with a warning about high data costs and also it will take as lightly longer time for few songs to load.

At this moment, the bitrate of high quality Apple’s music is 256 kbps, which is lower than the Spotify’s bitrate which is 320 kbps and also from Tidal’s lossless which is 1141 kbps, so one should not yet expect a CD quality audio.

Another feature given by iOS 9 is going to be:

Altogether a special new place for storing screenshots and selfies.

As it seems, gone are the days when your photo library used to be full of embrassing selfies as well as accidental screenshots. With the new feature of iOS 9, the phone is going to detect the pictures automatically which fall into these two groups and will file them automatically in their own folders for easy sharing or deleting of such photographs.

It is being said that the phone will decide on its own about a screenshot or selfie on the basis of how it has been taken. It does not use any special image recognition technology. Google photos can also recognise all types of photos whether be it screenshot, selfie or any other type of picture but this is done by a complicated type of a computer program which recognises the content of the photograph and hence has been turned off in Europe.

iOS 9 has been made available to developers. It is rumored to be released in September, along with the next iPhone.

iOS 9 public beta is now also available for everyone. Interested users that wants to join Apple Beta Software Program can use their Apple IDs and then you will be able to download the beta version of iOS 9. Please note that as its a beta release, there will be bugs in it.
