Good news for LG G2 owners, an LG employee from Korea has confirmed that LG G2 will receive the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update in coming days. LG G2 received last update in April 2015 and now its set to receive the Android 5.1.1 update means it will skip the Android 5.1 and will straight away receive Android 5.1.1.
Androidpit also confirmed that the update is getting prepared and will be seeded in next 2 months to LG G2. this update will install LG’s UX 4.0 interface to the G2 and other features that are available on LG G4 currently.
LG G2 was launched in 2013 comes with 5.2-inch full-HD display and is powered by a 2.26GHz Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. It has 2GB of RAM and comes in 16GB and 32GB storage options.
It has a 13 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and 2.1 MP front camera is also available. It has a 3,000mAh battery available and connectivity options it has are 3G, USB etc. It was launched with Black and White colour options.
