Samsung, yesterday, started rolling Android 5.1.1 to Galaxy S6 in France and Galaxy S5 smartphone in the US, but now we have a good news that the Galaxy S6 Edge is also receiving this update, but this time, in the UK and Ireland. The model number of the device is SM-G925F.
This update comes with build number G925FXXU2BOFJ and is available via Samsung Kies. An OTA update will also be available soon.
As we discussed earlier, this update brings new features and improvements with major camera app changes where users can adjust exposure directly from the viewfinder. This was said to be the iPhone like camera update for Samsung smartphones.
Users have previously reported that RAM issue was not solved in this update after updating Galaxy S6, so most probably Galaxy S6 Edge users will also face this issue.
