Sony Xperia M4 Aqua Launched At MWC 2015 For EUR 299 With 5-Inch HD Display

Successor of Xperia M2 Aqua called the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua has been launched by Sony at the MWC 2015 event at Barcelona which is said to be a waterproof and dust tight (IP65 and IP68) smartphone. It is priced at EUR 299 and will be available starting Spring in more than 80 countries and 100 carriers.

Sony Xperia M4 Aqua‘s Dual SIM variant will also be available in some of the markets. It runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and has a 5 inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It gets powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa Core MSM8939 processor (Quad-core 1.5 GHz + Quad core 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU.

Sony Xperia M4 Aqua has 2 GB RAM available with 8 GB / 16 GB storage variants with up to 32 GB microSD expandable storage. 13 megapixel auto focus camera is available with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. Camera comes with HDR, 4x digital zoom, Sony Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, video stabilisation, Superior Auto, Image stabiliser etc features.

Sony Xperia M4 Aqua features a 2400 mAh battery up to 13 hours 17 min talk time and up to 779 hours of standby time. Connectivity options includes aGPS, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GLONASS, Native USB tethering, USB High speed 2.0, Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot, LTE (4G), 2G, 3G etc. It will be available in White, Black and Coral color variants.
