HTC has started rolling the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update to its flagship devices such as HTC One M7 and HTC One M8. Users are reporting this news on Facebook and Twitter.
HTC One M8 users are receiving the update which is of 780 MB in size and build number 4.16.401.10. HTC One M7 developer edition is receiving Android 5.0.2 update with Sense 6.0 with ROM version 7.17.1540.7 and 702.52 МВ size.
This update comes with important enhancements and bug fixes including Lock screen Notification, Lollipop UI, recent apps, search function in settings menu etc. The new lollipop update gives your phone a new lollipop look.
If you haven’t received the notification then go to the settings and then about option in settings to check for the update.
HTC’s Vice President of Product Management, Mo Versi, have recently posted that they failed to bring the update to the HTC devices in the 90 days period they promised. But now seems that HTC is working hard to bring the new update to all the HTC devices around the world.
HTC’s update schedule was recently leaked which revealed the device that will get this update. According to this update HTC One Mini, HTC One Mini 2, HTC Desire 816, HTC One Max and HTC Butterfly S will receive this update in upcoming weeks.
