Android 4.4.3 Kitkat Update Started Rolling For Moto E, Moto G and Moto X Smartphones

Motorola has started rolling the latest Android update Android 4.4.3 Kitkat on all Moto smartphones Moto G, Moto E and Moto X. This update was just released by Google for its Nexus devices and Motorola has provided this update 1st for its devices after Google.

Motorola’s Software Engineer, SVP, Mr. Steve Horowitz announced this news on June 3 in an official Motorola blog post. This week this update will be rolled out for Moto X T-Mobile users, Moto G users who bought online in the U.S. (includes Moto G 4G LTE) and at retail in Brazil and for Moto E users who bought online in the U.S. Motorola also annouced that Moto E users will get the next major Android update first as well.

This new Android update brings an improved dialer with a new interface and new colors to enhance consistency and usability, as well as several stability, framework, security fixes, and enhancements to the power profile capabilities. Moto X users will enjoy the improvements in camera and camera images.

Another Motorola Alert app for Moto X and Moto G users will help sending periodic messages to their contacts. This new update is expected to roll out globally soon in the coming weeks.
