AmanGionee has launched its first world slimmest smartphone called Gionee Elife S5.5 at Rs. 22,999 in India. This smartphone is expected to be available soon as company has not yet provided the details of its availability.
It comes with a 5.0 Inch Capacitive Touchscreen LTPS Corning Gorilla Glass Third Generation Cover display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Octa core 1.7 Ghz MTK 6592 processor.
It runs on Amigo 2.0 OS which is based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It has 2GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage. It has 13.0 MP rear camera with flash, auto focus, touch focus, and face tracking support. There is a 5.0 MP front facing camera also available with 95° Wide Angle rotation.
It has a Li-Ion Battery with battery capacity of 2300mAh with Connectivity options available such as Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0, WIFI Display, WIFI Direct, GPS etc.
Gionee Elife S5.5 was launched on March 18 in China. Its the world slimmest smartphone at 5.55mm and it weights only 130 g.
