Motorola, today in an Event at Chicago, launched the much awaited next updated version of the Moto G called the Moto G (2nd Gen). It is priced at Rs. £144.99 for 8GB variant. It is alo also launched in India for Rs. 12,499 and will be available on online retailer Flipkart.com.

Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) comes with a larger 5 inch HD display which was 4.5 inch in the first gen Moto G. It is launched with the same 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 GPU. It has 1 GB RAM and 8GB/16GB storage variants with MicroDS card expandable storage capacity.

It comes with a 8 MP rear autofocus camera with a 2 MP front camera. A bigger 2070mAh battery gives it the power and is non removable. Connectivity features includes 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB etc. There is no word on the Moto G 2nd Gen UK website about the 4G LTE connectivity which was available in original Moto G.
