Chinese Xiaomi launched their Note series device Redmi Note 4 in August this year and is now expected unveil the new variant of the device rumored as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X with Snapdragon processor. A Chinese user has now confirmed the name of the device as Redmi Note 4X and also shared an image from ‘about phone’ section of the device confirming the device name and some of the specifications of the device. The leaked image from the weibo user also confirms the curved dual edge display for the device.

According to the about section in the leaked image of the Redmi Note 4X, this device will feature an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor that comes with Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53 CPUs along with Adreno 510 GPU. The leaked image also confirms 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity. The device runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based MIUI 8.1. The device is expected to launch soon in Asian countries like India and home country China with an affordable price tag.

The rumored specifications for the Redmi Note 4X includes a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and will be powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU. It will have 4GB of RAM along with 32GB / 64GB internal storage that will also have expandable storage with microSD card. It will run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based MIUI 8.1 and will support Hybrid Dual-SIM option.

It will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture and a 85-degree wide-angle lens. It will be backed up by a 4100mAh battery with connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and GLONASS will be available. It measures 151x76x8.35mm and will weight 175 grams. It will also feature a fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor as well.
