Blackberry has officially starting taking the pre-orders for its first ANdroid powered smartphone Blackberry PRIV via their official Blackberry store online. The interested buyers can now pre-order their Priv smartphone in the US, UK and Canada. Read on to know the pricing details and availability details of the Blackberry PRIV in these countries.
In the US, it is priced at $699 and you can pre-order the phone here, in UK its price is £559 and buy it from here, finally, in the Canada, its available for $899 and you can pre-order it here and on Rogers in Canada here.
The new Blackberry PRIV comes with a 5.4-inch dual-curved AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Hexa-Core 64 bit Soc with 64 bit Dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A57 and Quad-core 1.44 GHz CortexA53 and Adreno 418 600MHz GPU..
It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It has 3GB of RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage and up to 2TB MicroSD card slot expandable storage. It features an 18MP rear camera with features like auto-focus, OIS, HDR, 6-element f2.2 lens, Back Side Illumination (BSI2) Stacked Sensor, Dual Colour, Dual 2 mm2 LED Flash, 4k Video Recording, 4x digital zoom, Panorama, Burst, Live Filters and Multi-Frame Low Light Enhancement etc. It also features a 2MP Fixed-Focus front facing camera with features like Image & video stabilization, 720p HD video recording, 2x digital zoom, Wide Selfie Mode, Multi-Frame Low Light Enhancement etc.
Blackberry PRIV comes with a 3410 mAh 4.4V 680 Wh/L integrated non-removable battery with Fast charge enabled. It can give Up to 22.5 hours of mixed usage. It weights just 192g. Connectivity options available are FD 4G LTE, Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB 2.0 etc. Phone pre-orders are up and the shipping of the phone shipping will start November 6, 2015.
