OnePlus 3T launching in India on December 2 with “something special”

OnePlus today started sending official invites for its OnePlus 3T smartphone for India launch that is scheduled for December 2nd in the country. The company has also said that the company has “something special” to announce this time along with the OnePlus 3T. Now, its still unknown what’s new the company is planning to launch and surprise its fans at the time of the device launch. We will get to know about it later this week. The official event is set to take place in New Delhi.

The OnePlus 3T smartphone was announced on November 15 with a full aluminium unibody design and features a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.35GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU and comes with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM again. It has 64GB and 128GB (UFS 2.0) inbuilt storage options and there is no support for expandable storage.

It runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS based Oxygen OS and supports Dual nano SIMs. It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX298 sensor, 1.12 micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, EIS 2.0, PDAF, OIS, 4K video recording and also features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with Samsung 3P8SP sensor, 1.0 micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and 1080p video recording.

Backed up by a 3400mAh battery with Dash Charge feature, the OnePlus 3T comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (MIMO) and USB Type-C connectivity options. It measures 152.7×74.7×7.35mm and weights 158g. The device features a bottom-facing speaker and dual microphone for noise cancellation. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the front panel on the home button.
