Brian Yoon also confirmed that the company’s flagship from last year OnePlus 2 will also get the Android Nougat update but he hasn’t confirmed any rollout date for the device and we can assume that it will arrive somewhere in  the year 2017. As for the OnePlus X and OnePlus one smartphones, they won’t be getting the Android Nougat update as their chipset won’t support graphics-related requirements available in Android Nougat software.

The company recently launched the OxygenOS 3.5.5 community build for the latest flagship device OnePlus 3 that comes with new features and bug fixes. This new update brings features such as new Community app, redesigned Phone calling UI, DashFile transfer feature to transfer files from OnePlus device to another, new simplified launcher layout and many other new features.

The company is expected to launch a new device rumored as OnePlus 3T on November 15th that will be powered by the latest Qualcomm chipset Snapdragon 821. The rumors says that this new device will have other specifications like Android 7.0 Nougat based OxygenOS out of the box, a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution, a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge, same design like OnePlus 3, 6GB of RAM, 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage options, a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor on the rear side and other features as well.
