BlackBerry Mercury (BBB100-1) Geekbench

In June, leaks confirmed that the Canadian Blackberry will launch three new Android smartphones and out of these three, the company launched the Blackberry DTEK50 and the Blackberry DTEK60 is expected to launch soon worldwide. Now, the company may be gearing up to launch another Android powered smartphone code named Blackberry Mercury that was also leaked in renders in the past with a physical keyboard.

The Blackberry Mercury has now made its appearance on Geekbench with mid-range specifications again. It is listed with the model number BBB100-1 at Geekbench and comes powered by Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It will have a 2.02 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor under the hood with the power of 3GB RAM. It scored 913 points in single core test and 5047 points in multi-core test. Geekbench, however, doesn’t lists any other details of the device.

In past, @evleaks confirmed that the Blackberry Mercury may feature specs like a 4.5-inch full HD display with a physical QWERTY keyboard and will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with expandable microSD expandable storage.

It will feature a 18-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It will be powered by a 3400mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.

So far, the Geekbench has listed similar specs like Eva Blass predicted in the past. So we can expect that other specifications will also be same as Evan Blass predicted that includes a good 3400mAh battery, 32GB internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and an 8-megapixel front camera. It will have 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 and other connectivity options as well. Stay tuned.
