The Indian Smartphone manufacturer, Micromax has launched its new flagship Smartphone naming as Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo in the marketplace few days back. The powerful Canvas Turbo is selling at a price tag of around Rs.19, 500, which gives a direct competitor to the entire high end Smartphones selling at double the price tag of Canvas Turbo.

Samsung’s flagship model Galaxy S4 captures the first place in the comparison list with the Micromax Canvas Turbo. The South Korean manufacturer, Samsung has around 26% share in the Indian Smartphone market while Micromax grabs 22% of the market share. With the series of new launches, it is expected that Micromax may take over Samsung in coming time.

Micromax Canvas Turbo is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek Quad Core Processor supported with 2GB of RAM. While Samsung Galaxy SIV is powered by 1.6GHz Quad Core + 1.2GHz Quad core Exynos Octa-core chipset processors coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The Octa-core chipsets of Samsung Galaxy S4 makes it a more powerful Smartphone over its rival and a clean winner in this section.

Operating System:

Both these Smartphones run on Google’s Android operating system. The difference is just in the version of their OS. Micromax Canvas Turbo runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS, while Galaxy S4 comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS which can be updated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. There is no word by Micromax about the OS update in future.

Camera:

Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo houses a 13 Megapixels Autofocus rear camera coupled with LED flash. This camera can record 1080p Full HD videos. It also features 360-degree Panorama mode, cinemagraph and other standard tools. This Smartphone also carries a 5 Megapixels camera on the front to support your video calls.

Samsung Galaxy S4 also offers 16GB of internal memory. But it goes a step forward by offering expandable storage option up to 64GB via MicroSD card slot.

While Samsung Galaxy S4 is sold with a price tag of around Rs.40, 000, Micromax Canvas Turbo is available at its half price only at Rs.19, 500.
