Samsung has launched a new device today in Korean smartphones market called the Samsung Galaxy Wide that comes with similar specifications like the Galaxy On7 launched last year and is listed on official website as well. It is priced at 319000 Won (around $274) in Korea and comes in Black and White color options. This phone comes with similar specs like Galaxy On7 but is costlier than the On7. The Samsung Galaxy Wide comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by the 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with Adreno 306. It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage capacity with up to 128GB expandable storage microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box and comes with Dual SIM support.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.1 aperture, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with  f/2.2 aperture. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery that can deliver up to 12 hours of video playback time, up to 78 hours of audio playback and up to 21 hours of talk time on 3G WCDMA network.

Connectivity options includes 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS. It measures 151.8 x 77.5 x 8.2mm and weights 171 grams. There is no word of its official availability by the company.
